Description

An idea of making the youth exchange that would be both interesting and uniting for us. When having one of the conversation we understood that Europe today has to deal with many different issues and one of the most important is being able to understand other cultures while being able to keep one’s own. We see that many young people lack the understanding of the importance of taking care of the
nature. Through an experience with being in the nature, meeting people living close to the nature everyday and having a better understanding about tradition life, we as organizations believe it can help to meet these needs among the young people.

“Carpatians Explore” will be an international Erasmus+ youth exchange organized by Shokkin Group Norge and Logos. The main activity of the project will take place in Lviv Carpathians (Ukraine) during the period 16th-23rd July 2019, including participants from seven different countries.

Aim of the project is for participants to learn more about each others cultures, traditions, cuisine and nature through outdoor experience.

Participant’s profile:

Young people, aged 18 to 30, who are interested in topics such as culture, intercultural education, nature, environment and who are also interested in outdoor activities (ready for challenges). Participants must be official residents in the country partnering in the project, have a good command of English language, be ready to participate in the full program and commit to the dissemination activities.
