Description
The long-term programme UPGRADE aims to increase the operational capacity and participatory approaches of Youth Centers in partner countries through creating youth work structures, developing professional competences of youth workers, establishing/exchanging the means of best practices exchange and participating in a series of learning activities with NGO and governmental representatives from Estonian, Swedish and Polish youth work fields.
The objectives of this first training mobility are:
- To establish a common understanding of youth work in Europe and partner countries;
- To introduce various youth work structures;
- To map realities and challenges of the youth work field and youth center field in partner countries;
- To introduce and reflect on the European Commission’s competence model on youth worker;
- To introduce stages and types of youth participation in youth centers;
- To discuss the role of youth workers in the development of youth;
- To increase capacities of youth centers in partner countries;
- To increase the ability of involved youth workers from partner countries.
Participant’s profile:
For the Training Course- we would like to invited Youth workers/leaders from youth centers and youth NGOs directly working with young people. The people coming for the TC will be involved in the Youth Exchanges held within the project and will act as the Youth Leader.
