Description
“Take the Lead” aims to provide participants with space to develop their leadership competence set for being an effective group leader and facilitator at youth projects.
Take the Lead is about leadership exploration and facilitation development. It aims to improve the quality of international youth projects through developing participants’ leadership competences.
Participants shall become confident group leaders and comprehensive session facilitators who are involved in the whole project cycle and ready to handle difficult situations, specific target groups and taking up an inclusive approach.
Participant’s profile
The training course is designed for youth leaders and active young volunteers of the NGO’s partner in this project or institutions from their local communities.
Participants should be interested in the topic of leadership, facilitation and non-formal learning, have an intention to lead youth projects in the near future and be interested or open for building up contacts for future partnerships and projects.
Participants need to be official residents of one of the partner countries, be over 18 years of age and have at least an intermediate level of English. Participants are expected to participate fully in the program and commit to the dissemination activities.
