Description

After COVID-19 there has been a noticeable increase in mental health difficulties that people working with youth encounter daily. Often, the stress for youth workers rises from wanting to help the struggling youngsters but not having the knowledge or toolset to manage these situations.

The main goal of this training course is to provide youth workers with specific tools and know-how for managing and supporting youngsters in difficult situations, as well as to break the stigmatization of this topic and to encourage youth workers to also take care of their own mental well-being.

Participant’s profile

The training course is designed for youth workers, facilitators, coordinators or educators who actively work with young people.

Participants need to be official residents in Estonia, be over 18 years of age and have at least an intermediate level of English. Participants are expected to participate fully in the program and commit to the dissemination activities.
