A week of awareness expansion about current environmental issues, learning and experiencing how youth can make a difference for the future of our planet.
Learning objectives
Climate change is perhaps the greatest challenge humanity has ever faced. It affects every corner of our planet, from the poles to the tropics, from the mountains to the oceans. People and nature worldwide are already feeling the effects, so now it`s the time to ACT! In the activity program (see infopack below) we will discuss:
- climate change;
- sustainable use of natural resources;
- recycling and upcycling;
- plastic-free lifestyle & how to make more eco- friendly choices;
- how to create your own environmental projects back home.
Participant’s profile
The participants need to be interested in the topic of this youth exchange. They should be motivated in learning about nature and its procedures. This project will be about peer to peer learning so their personal involvement is important.
Participants are expected to actively participate in ALL sessions. Besides, participants should commit to keep to the deadlines, carry out the preparatory tasks asked for by the organizers and be willing to follow‐up on the youth exchange in co‐operation with their sending organisation.
