Description
This project aims to support youth workers in developing their capacity to popularize culture through non-formal education in order to reach and inspire youth.
During the seminar, participants will have the time and the opportunity to share and exchange their knowledge and experience on the topic of non-formal education and to build new partnerships with other organizations with similar interests and fields of action.
The seminar seeks to address the following aspects:
• promoting access to culture for those with social, economic and cultural obstacles;
• increasing the skills of youth workers and give them the opportunity to open up to the international scene;
• increasing the number and quality of non-formal education tools;
• giving an international impetus to non-formal education.
Participant’s profile
Ideal participants are envisioned to be full members of Shokkin Group Estonia who have a good understanding of the organization’s activities and working directions, and are able to present them during the seminar.
Participants should be at least 18 years old, have good level of English, and be willing and committed to actively participate in ALL sessions of the programme. Besides, participants should commit to keep to the deadlines and carry out the preparatory tasks asked for by the organizers.
