Description
Organizations working with international youth projects and involving local volunteers for international learning activities often face challenges when it comes to involving or supporting group leaders. Being a group leader, especially at projects with minors or youth at risk is a big responsibility and should be done by competent group leaders who undergo specific training, are confident and see value in experience.
“Lead it Like You Mean it” will be an international Erasmus+ training course organized by Shokkin Group Norge and Shokkin Group International. The main activity of the project will take place in Brandbu (Norway) during the period 29th June – 7th July 2019, including 24 participants from 7 different countries (Estonia, The Netherlands, Sweden, Romania, Spain, Poland and Norway).
The aim of the project is to increase the level of quality of international youth exchanges through developing youth leader/youth worker competence set for being a group leader and be involved in the whole project cycle.
Participant’s profile:
Participant for the training course should:
- be above 18 years
- be a resident in the country of the sending organization
- have an intermediate level of English
- be a full member of the partner organization
- be a youth worker or a passionate youth leader
- have an interest in being a group leader and prepare future group leaders
- be interested in raising his/her level of competences as a leader, facilitator and
- ultimately group leader at youth exchanges.
