Description

A work plan is a long-term project funded by the European Youth Foundation and the Council of Europe. The work plan “European Activist factory” will take place throughout the whole 2019 and includes three main stages:

  • 03-09 March 2019: International training activity in Estonia.
  • March-December 2019: National training activities, development and implementation of social campaigns.
  • 14-17 December 2019: International evaluation activity in Poland.

This first international training activity is a 6 working day training for youth leaders of the participating organizations that will gather 21 participants from 7 countries (Estonia, Poland, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Romania and Denmark) in Vihi, Estonia.

The aim of the training activity is to train youth leaders on the topic of social activism and how to support young people in planning and implementing meaningful blended social campaigns.

The objectives are:
1. To introduce youth leaders to examples and frames of social activism and blended campaigning in the context of Council of Europe’s priority topics.
2. To equip youth leaders with tools to support young people to plan and implement blended social campaigns across the network of organizations to be conducted until mid-December 2019.
3. To provide space to plan 7 national training events with the purpose of planning blended campaigns to be conducted until mid-December 2019.

Participant’s profile:

The project involves 3 participants from each partner organization who should be participating throughout the year. During the first stage, the international training course, we will involve youth leaders (18-26), who will, after the activity, recruit youngsters (16-25) in the local communities of the participating members, will train them in social activism and campaigning and will provide them with constant support in organizing, advertising, implementing and evaluating the campaigns.

Participants of this course are responsible to conduct a national training using the designated budget, develop a promotional campaign on the chosen topic and implement the campaign online and offline with the all other partners of the work plan.
Participants have to be official residents in the country partnering in the project, be above 18 years of age, have a good command of English language, be ready to participate in the full program and commit to the dissemination activities.
