From 2nd to 6th of March we organized in Estonia the second seminar of the “Young Business” programme, titled as “Marketing with heart: from selling to connecting”. Here are the reflections of the Estonian team participating in the “Young Business” adventure:
“The project was very interesting and useful. The task I liked the most was creating a concept for a social media account. We chose fonts and colors, came up with a name, and designed a logo. It was exciting to think about how the account should look so that it is attractive and easy to remember. During the seminar I learned many new things about creating content for social media. We were shown how to make speeches, carousels, and reels. We also learned different ways to attract viewers and keep their attention so the content becomes more interesting.
I plan to use this knowledge in the future to promote my own business account on social media. I would also like to share this information with others. Another thing I will remember is the atmosphere of the project. In the evenings we played board games, talked, and spent time together. It created a very warm and friendly atmosphere, which made the project not only useful, but also very memorable.“

“The most interesting thing was the approach of learning, through games and lectures that were not boring or too heavy for the brain. It was really easy to catch up quickly. I learnt more about the right way of marketing. Even though I knew most of the things from before, it was really helpful to go over and remind it again. I really loved how cute and lovely the team and the organisers was, since I haven’t received that so much in the first part of the project, this time I felt happy. I will remember our games and pancake night 🙂.”

“The most interesting part for me were the sessions: they were engaging and helped me understand the topics in a clear and practical way. I learned how advertisements work and how colors and fonts play an important role in business. These elements can influence people’s decisions and create a strong brand image.
I can use this knowledge in the future, especially in my own business. It will help me create better marketing and attract more customers. A nice moment that I will remember is the group of people.
The company was enjoyable, and it made the whole experience more fun and memorable.“
