“Project Playground” was an international residential meeting bringing together project managers, coordinators, and decision-makers from youth NGOs with the aim of strengthening long-term cooperation and jointly designing high-quality Erasmus+ (KA2) projects. Pavel and Olalla facilitated the event, which took place in Anceu (Galicia) from 9th to 14th of March 2026 and which went like this:

Day 1

We kicked things off by getting to know each other through energizers, creative games, and plenty of mingling moments. From name games to “real-life GIFs,” the energy was high from the start! Then we shifted into sharing experiences and insights on cooperation projects: exploring challenges, exchanging tips, and learning from each other. The afternoon was all about discovering the amazing organizations in the room, with fast-paced pitches, quizzes, and lots of inspiration. New connections, fresh ideas, and a strong start to the journey.

Day 2

The day started with a Human Library, diving into real experiences: from managing KA2 projects to designing games and building strong applications. We also explored what makes a solid partnership, sharing expectations and turning them into our collboration base. The Open Space sessions brought creativity and experimentation, with games, debates, and interactive formats led by participants. In the afternoon, we unpacked KA2 myths and exchanged solutions together, wrapping up the day by sparking new collaborations: sharing ideas, matching partners, and starting to shape future projects.

Day 3

A full day of collaboration as teams dived deeper into developing their project ideas: self-managed, focused, and full of creativity! We paused to reflect, exchange feedback, and tackle key questions together during the check-up session, and the afternoon Open Space brought even more energy, with games, improv, and playful learning moments. We ended the day outdoors with a guided tour by Agus from Anceu, who showed us some of the art installations in the forest brought by projects of Rural Hackers.

Day 4

The last day’s energy was all about refining ideas and making them stronger. Teams exchanged feedback, stepped into assessor roles, and improved their project concepts together. We showcased ideas, shared offers, and explored future collaborations: building connections beyond just one project. The afternoon focused on next steps, reflections, and where these ideas go from here. We closed with team appreciation, key takeaways, and a strong sense of everything we created together.
