From 29th to 31st of May, a group of young people aged 15–19 came together for the “Loud & Clear Bootcamp”, a three-day learning experience that combined educational escape games, teamwork, creativity, and active citizenship.
The bootcamp was designed to offer participants a chance to step away from their daily routines, meet new people, and explore important social topics through engaging and interactive activities. Rather than learning through traditional lectures, participants discovered new ideas through games, discussions, challenges, and collaborative problem-solving.

Throughout the three days, the group took part in team-building activities, icebreakers, energizers, and educational escape games. These experiences encouraged participants to communicate, work together, and think critically while exploring topics connected to active citizenship. Through guided discussions and reflection activities, they examined questions such as what it means to be an active member of a community, why participation matters, and how young people can contribute to positive change around them.
A special focus of the bootcamp was learning through game design. After experiencing educational escape games themselves, participants explored how such games are created and what makes them engaging and meaningful. Working in teams, they developed their own escape box prototypes based on civic and social themes. From creating puzzles and storylines to testing ideas and improving their designs, participants applied creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills throughout the process.

By the end of the bootcamp, participants had not only created playable escape box prototypes but had also strengthened a range of valuable competences. They developed teamwork and communication skills, improved their critical thinking abilities, learned the basics of game design, and gained a deeper understanding of active citizenship and civic participation.
The Loud & Clear Bootcamp provided a space where participants could learn from one another, share ideas, and discover how their voices can contribute to their communities.
