Description
The long-term programme UPGRADE aims to increase the operational capacity and participatory approaches of Youth Centers in partner countries through creating youth work structures, developing professional competences of youth workers, establishing/exchanging the means of best practices exchange and participating in a series of learning activities with NGO and governmental representatives from Estonian, Swedish and Polish youth work fields.

- Training Course in Tbilisi, Georgia (May 2019)
- Job Shadowings in Sweden, Estonia and Poland (May-June 2019)
- Training course in Poland (July 2019)
Objectives of the youth exchange:
- To provide space for facilitating non-formal learning activities for young people in an international environment;
- To support the development of a participatory approach of youth workers through acting as group leaders and developing sessions together with young people/dividing responsibilities among them;
- To increase the level of competence and confidence of youth workers to cooperate transnationally and to involve young people from the youth centers.
Participant’s profile:
Young people in the age range 18-25 with an intermediate level of English and motivation to elarn more about youth work and active participation.
