Description:
“All We Are One” is a Youth Exchange with the aim of determining the prejudices that participants and community in the participating countries (Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Estonia) have about historical facts and recent conflicts. In this way, participants will get awareness and try to correct them.
During the project, some activities will be as continuing meeting with local authority, free workshops, conversation, visit to mosque and questions-answers session with Imam, discussion, sharing the ideas, presentations, sketch, drama, cultural visits, preparing posters and slogans, creative activities, round table discussions, empathy work-shop, etc.
The Youth Exchange project will give young people opportunities to undertake non-formal study of intriguing subjects, to make debate groups and express their opinions in creative ways. After practical workshops which introduce them negative aspects of discrimination and how to get rid of prejudices, they will work in mixed groups and they will be organizing the works: dividing tasks and roles, deciding the subject of their movies, writing narrative, conducting interviews and creating together a final short movie.
Participant’s profile:
- Good level of English;
- Motivation in attending the youth exchange and participate actively;
- Ready to contribute to dissemination activities (local workshops, blog posts) promoting the results of the project with the support of their sending organization.
