Young Entrepreneurs in Creativity is a 7-days TC that was held in Torres Vedras, Portugal. There were 28 participants from: Portugal, Estonia, Poland, Turkey, Italy, Spain and Denmark.
The project came from the increasing need to empower youth workers and young people to take the entrepreneurial approach and try to adapt it to the needs of the community. Young people are the people responsible for the labor market and work spaces in the very near future, although youth has become one of the groups at the highest risk when it comes to problem of unemployment.
So what happened when we came to Portugal to be part of creativity & entrepreneurship for 7 days? We met great people from various countries, we got to feel Portuguese hospitality, Portuguese sun & ocean breeze, to discover the beauty of Sintra & jump into the water of Santa Cruz, to create our small business ideas, to share & debate, to discuss & present . This was one of the projects that gives you warmth together with experience, knowledge, new skills.
It was amazing to see the differences of European realities across the countries, to witness the Danish aproach to critical thinking & the Italian aproach to creativity. And speak how diverse Europe is, but also how many challenges we face, when legislations, business processes, business ethics are so different.
The brightest highlight of the training course was the Portuguese evening, where the lovely people from Portugal, together with the coordinators created a fairytale for us, a beautiful dinner with amazing dishes, with a live Fado band, with stories of Portugal, with uncountable deserts & especially with the atmosphere of hospitality, kindness and friendship that we all felt that night.
It was a great experience, it was a memory to keep & new skills to use for the future.
