The training course „Young Entrepreneurs in Action II” was organised in February 2015 by team Fingerprints and Shokkin Group in a small town Marsaxlokk, Malta. It brought together participants from 8 different countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Croatia, Bulgaria, Italy, and Malta. The main aim of the training course was to provide the participants with a particular knowledge in the field of youngsters’ creative thinking and with the methods of how to foster youth entrepreneurship. During the training course we had several workshops about the problems and the opportunities that youth can face in modern society. For example, we had an interactive discussion about the reasons and the consequences of unemployment and about the ways of triggering creativity and the interest in entrepreneurship. Nevertheless, we had a project-making night, when we divided into groups and created our own projects (training courses, youth exchanges, etc) and then presented them the next day.

As there are so many different training activities, it may seem that we hadn’t had any side activities… But that’s not true! The most surprising part for me was that besides this studying we had plenty of time for cultural events and games. We had a special cultural evening, when the participants from every country presented their homeland and their cuisine, every day there were many energizers and team-building games (as well as crazy Alias every evening), and we had a great treasure hunt in the capital city – Valletta. In Valletta we had many different quests to do as well as leisure. And I must mention that the beauty of the city was outstanding!

By the end of the course I felt that our team became one big international family as we experienced so many things together! You become so used to the atmosphere, where brainstorms and creativity is a part of your daily life. Now I understand that if I need to find some support from other countries for my projects, I know whom to ask!
