Do you know the feeling when you count a days to go somewhere to your vacation? Of course, you do. But do you know the feeling, when you count a days to see people who are like a family member to you? Suppose, not everyone of you know the feeling. But we were lucky and we had the opportunity to meet a family-project people. As one of our participant told, that „he could never think that meeting in an airport McDonalds will be the warmest thing in his life“. And he was absolutely right.
The project place was amazing. Beatiful house-castle, astonishing nature, enchanted riverand magnificent people from 10 countries. From the first day of the project we felt the friendly connection among us. We did a lot of games to get to know each other, during evenings we played a lot of diferent interesting games. But very important, that all the project programe was orginized so correctly, that after the project we felt that we had a lot of knowledge not only about hate speech topics, but also about the policy, psychology.All the tasks were related with the Hate speech. We introduced our countries as a Hate speakers. We did a lot of group works as a Hate specialists. We played some roles as a Hate actors. And it was really great experience. Because we did not think what other people will think about us. Just for a while we were a group of people without masks.
However, in a last day of project we prepared some actions in a main square in Warsaw. As an example: Free hugs, song about the Hate speach, killed judgement, Hate speach posters. We were as a one big family. And it was so nice experience to meet new people and once again to meet a those whom you met before.
One and main lesson from this project what we had learnt: it us – Do not judge, before you know the truth. Just Stop hate, be mate!
