It was my 5th project experience this year and I was lucky to learn how to write and manage my own project! Awesome TC made by hosting NGO Awesome people and 2 awesome training course leaders Pavel and Jonas, 2-9 september, Örebro. What it was like?

First days as usual was about getting to know each other, learning names of participants, teambuilding (sure no one will forget Minefield game), sharing our learning expectations, challenges and how we can contribute to the project . At the end of the day, NGO catwalk was a super-innovative way of presenting each other`s  sending NGO`s (best quote from one NGO – We give opportunities, not making miracles).

Next day we learned more about Erasmus+ programme by taking part in a queze – those who were on projects more than 10 times were actively sharing their knowledge with others.  In a very creative way we learned 8 key competences of erasmus+ projects (some of us succeeded to go through a4 sheet, some – write poems on several languages, others were innovative creating eco-friendly gifts).

Formal education vs Non-formal education! We discussed our vision of the difference between those 2 by showing short plays and saw so many benefits of non-formal education.

Then it came to discover the main topic of our awesome TC.

Every project starts with the idea – in our aquarium of ideas were swimming 5-6 topics – we formed our project groups.  And…then we met NAOMIE, who helped us to understand steps of writing projects! Project cycle, motivation, forming the topic – on every step you should ask yourself many questions -Why? What? Who? How? Pavel and Jonas shared with us their project experiences, both challenging and happy ones. Perfect mix of theory and practice made us work, work, work!!!

Between sessions we truly got involved in Swedish coffee break tradition – FIKA! By playing pokemon game outdoors we learned about local culture, approaching local people and discovering interesting places of Orebro. My only fear came true – overeating, but it happened because we had awesome Syrian cooking team, very friendly, helpful and open-minded people! Cant wait for the 2nd part of TC in Estonia, January 2017!

In one word – awesome <3

Valentina

The ‘PROJECTion’ was aimed to boost competences for 28 youth coming from 8 countries: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Estonia, Spain, Croatia, Romania and Turkey. Me and Valentina were representing Estonia.

I really enjoyed this project, because I learned a lot of things: culture, new organizations – meaning new cooperations and of course GUESS WHAT??? Yes, VOILAAAA, by learning theoretical part of Project Management, now my team and I are writing a project about Outdoor activities.
Our amazing trainers Pavel and Jonas taught us a lot how to become a master in project management by giving their best practises and DARK stories from their previous experiences with projects.
Besides that we had some cultural nights, and had our own Swedish Midsummer days.
Oh, also I forgot to mention that we managed to play a real POKEMON GO orientation game by catching SWEDES and questioning them.
Best regards,
Tural Abdulla
