Have you ever wondered how streaming could become part of your youth work? Join our free two-day practical training in Tallinn and discover the possibilities of live streaming as a tool for communication, participation and community building.

The training is part of Stream It Out: Reaching the invisible, an international Erasmus+ project exploring how streaming can help youth workers connect with young people, including those who may be less involved in traditional youth work activities.

What can you expect?

During the training, you will:

  • Explore digital youth work and discover different streaming formats.
  • Learn from the experiences of youth workers who have already experimented with streaming.
  • Develop your own streaming idea based on the interests and needs of the young people you work with.
  • Learn how to prepare and start a stream, including the basics of equipment, software, online safety and moderation.
  • Try streaming yourself* and reflect on your experience.

*You can use whichever language works best for you and your young people when creating your own streams.

What happens after the training?

The journey doesn’t end after two days! Participants will be invited to experiment with streaming in their own youth work, receive support and exchange experiences with others.

There is no expectation to create professional-quality streams or attract large audiences. We want to explore what works, what doesn’t and what we can learn together. Your experiences and feedback will also help us improve the practical streaming guide developed within the project.

Who can participate?

The training is open to:

  • Youth workers
  • Volunteers working with young people
  • Educators and other people involved in youth work

No previous streaming experience is required! We’re looking for people who are curious, open to new experiences and willing to experiment and reflect on their practice.
