Description
“inVIDEOGAMESjam” is an educational experience to promote the creation of video games applied to the areas of education, training, and health among young people aged 13 to 25.
Get ready for a unique gamified co-creation experience!
The project, an Erasmus+ small-scale partnership implemented by four organizations from Spain, France and Estonia, aims to promote technical and cross-cutting competencies among young people with interests in programming, art, psychology, music, design, health, and education.
InVideogames Jam is a unique educational experience that brings together teams of 4 to 5 young people to develop a video game prototype within a 48-hour timeframe. During the event, teams will work in a fun and exciting environment to create a video game from scratch, using freeware tools and platforms.
InJam Training will be a co-creation experience for the ideation and organization of serious games jams that will take place in Terrassa on 1st and 2nd of June 2023, where 8 representatives per country will meet and learn hot to implement educational videogamejams.
Participant’s profile
The training course is designed for:
- Youth workers/educators in the STEAM field who are interested in learning game-based methodologies like Jam to implement in their classes.
- Mentors, students and senior professionals specialized in video game development, health, education, and psychology.
Participants need to be official residents of one of the partner countries, be over 18 years of age and have at least an intermediate level of English. Participants are expected to participate fully in the program and commit to the dissemination activities.
