Description
“Edugame” aims to increase the competences of youth workers and educators to use game-based learning as well as to introduce and train participants in using the educational game son soft skills developed during the long-term project with the same name..
The project sets the following objectives:
- to get a deeper understanding of game-based learning;
- to learn how to facilitate and effectively use created games;
- to learn how to create own educational games;
- to be able to transfer the acquired knowledge and skills into the work of organizations/institutions that participant work in.
During the training activity, participants will have a chance to be trained in using game-based learning and creating educational games in their work, as well as be able to facilitate the specific educational games created during “Learn2Play”.
Participant’s profile
The training course is designed for youth workers, youth leaders, educators, trainers and/or teachers who are interested in using game-based learning in their work.
Participants are expected to be involved in the youth work or the education field, have interest to gain the skills/knowledge concrete to this training and the attitude to transfer and incorporate the learning it in their work.
Additionally, participants should be at least 18 years old, have at least medium level of English, and be willing and committed to actively participate in ALL sessions of the programme. Besides, participants should commit to keep to the deadlines and carry out the preparatory tasks asked for by the organizers.
