“BLUE TRACK” is an 8-day action adventure outdoor training for youth workers with the aim to use nature as a tool while learning how to be sustainable and environmentally friendly in the process. The activity includes elements like riverside-hike, outdoor survival, kayaking, seaside-hike, forest-hike and training methods within.
The project will involve 16 youth workers/leaders/trainers from Estonia, Latvia, Greece, Poland, Belgium and Serbia.
This training will equip participants with practical skills for youth work in nature, sustainable approaches to outdoor activities, leadership and group management competencies.
Participant profile
- Youth workers and active youth leaders working in the non-formal education field, as well as participants with less experience and emerging youth leaders.
- Interested in using adventure education elements in youth education.
- No prior experience in all fields is required, but participants should recognize the value of outdoor education and be eager to develop their skills.
