In Shokkin Group we believe in the power of youth’s active citizenship as an engine for social change in our communities. This is why we offer our members a wide array of long-term local and international projects.

DigiWise: : International Game Jam Series
"DigiWise" is a small-scale partnership that aims to support the ability of youth organizations to enhance young people’s understanding of digital literacy and online safety. The project includes a series of educational game jams in all participanting countries (Estonia, Germany, Spain and Italy) and four job shadowing events between members of the organizations. DivE(d): Diversifying Education
"DivE(d)" aims to develop a set of inclusive learning methods (Lego, puzzles, LARPs, TTRPGs) suitable for diverse-ability groups of young people in the youth work and education fields. Through webinars, training activities and publications, we aim to equip educators with methods that are accessible, engaging, and adaptable to young people with varying abilities. The project is co-funded by the European Union with the support of the Estonian NA. Read more

CIVIKO
“CIVIKO” is a project that aims to boost youth democratic participation through innovative educational tools, most notably a brand-new board game that makes learning about democracy exciting, interactive, and fun. CIVIKO is implemented between 01.11.25 and 31.10.27 in Italy, Estonia, Greece, Serbia, Portugal and Belgium, and it is co-financed by the European Union. Read more

PeaceAct: Creating Sustainable Futures
"PeaceAct" aims to foster Peace Education (PE) among youth workers in Estonia, Finland, Slovenia and Georgia, enhancing their capacities to promote peace, democracy, and social cohesion in their communities. The project seeks to enhance the quality and innovation of youth work, and empower youth workers to effectively promote active citizenship among young people.

EmpowerED: Mastering the Alphabet of
Sustainability, Finances and Emotions
The aim of "EmpowerED" is to equip young people and educators with knowledge, skills, and instruments related to financial literacy, emotion regulation and sustainability. The project includes an online course, game-based learning methods, and mobilities for educators and young people. Read more

Young Business
"Young Business" is a project aimed at helping young people gain practical experience and develop skills necessary for self-employment in creative industries by designing, implementing, and evaluating a program of 3 modules that utilizes best practices in the field of entrepreneurship and non-formal learning. The project will include two youth seminars, local mentoring sessions and one final showcase event. Read more

SafeNet Youth
The aim of "SafeNet" is to raise awareness among youth of the risks of digital technology and data collection, and to give them tools to be more responsible and be wary of unverified information circulating on the internet. The project will include two local actions and two international youth exchanges done with and for young people. Read more

LOUD & CLEAR
"LOUD & CLEAR" aims to strengthen the democratic participation of young people. The project uses non-formal education, creative methods, and youth-led activities to make democratic engagement more accessible, meaningful, and relevant. Activities include local Bootcamps, an international Hackathon, national LOUD & CLEAR Festivals, a cross-border Digital Exchange campaign and a final online event.

Stream It Out
"Stream It Out" aims to develop a training guide on the use of streaming as an innovative digital tool for youth workers. The project will enable youth organisations to train their workers in the use of an innovative digital method and broaden the scope of their beneficiaries.

Gamify+: Enhancing organizational capacity
through hybrid gaming
"Gamify+" aims to enhance the capacities of organisations, educators and youth workers to use a game-based approach to foster critical thinking and media literacy of young people through a hybrid game containing board game and mobile application. The project isco-funded by the European Union with the support of the Czech NA.

Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation 2025/26
During the period June 2025 to August 2026, are working on the following activities as part of our Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation: training course "R.I.S.E"; training course "Facilitator's Playground"; partnership building activity "Project Playground"; seminar "Edugame: Artefact Expo"; youth exchange "W.A.S. We Are Spotlight"; one study visit and one APV. The activities are funded by the Estonian National Agency Noorteagentuur.

Critical Thinkers'25
“Critical Thinkers'25” aims to increase the ability of young people to consume media critically and increase their resilience against disinformation and political propaganda through educational study visits, game design jams and game marathons. The project is supported by the German Embassy in Estonia.

Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation 2024/25
During the period June 2024 to August 2025, we implemented the following activities as part of our Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation: training course "Edularp Alembic", training course "EduEsc", study visit "Explore the Outdoor", job shadowing "Community in Action", youth exchange "No Stress, Say Yes!". The activities were funded by the Estonian National Agency Noorteagentuur.

Shokkin Meet & Play
“Shokkin Meet and Play” is a series of events organized with the support of Mondo and the US Embassy for young people aged 15-19 to come together, socialize by playing different types of games and even create their own game! Read more

During the period June 2023 to August 2024, we implemented the following activities as part of our Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation: seminar "Lead the Way", training course "We Got this!", contact-making event "Game Zone" and the youth exchanges "TuningIn2U" and "Bright colors 2.0". The activities were funded by the Estonian National Agency Noorteagentuur.

Breakout Box
"Breakout Box" explored the use of educational escape boxes and produced 6 educational breakout box games available for rent or ordered as an educational session. Read more

“Gems of Youth Work” gathered stories from trainers, youth work practitioners, organizations and active young people and shared them in the form of podcasts and graphic recordings. Read more

HOODie Cyphers
"Hoodie Cyphers" is a series of summer street dance events in parks around Tallinn. The project promotes street dance and its variety. Follow their official channel. Follow the official channel

Critical Escape
“Critical Escape 2023” is a project implemented with the support of the German Embassy in Estonia and their 2023 resilience and media literacy program where the educational escape game "The Truth Seekers" was created. Read more

European Activist Factory and Insight from Inside
A project about campaigning and social activism in which a group of youngsters developed the campaign “Insight from Inside” about self-awareness, reaching more than 500 youngsters online and offline. More information

Christmas Miracle
An international youth exchange that gathered 38 young people from various backgrounds and religions during the Christmas period to create little miracles for children and youngsters from difficult social backgrounds. It was a good feeling to work in such a diverse group of people and to show that your background and beliefs do not matter when you want to do something with an open heart. Watch the video recap
