Description
This is YOUR time to blossom. Don’t miss this international training course for youth organization coordinators. Our vision is to make you happy at your work. We are going to take care of 24 participants from 8 different countries, bring them to the ecological center near Brno in Czech Republic and equip them with communication skills, confidence, motivation, managerial tools and mental hygiene techniques. You are going to bring back home a boost of your competences and a plan for further development.
Objectives:
- To accept the role of youth worker with both advantages and disadvantages and to be able to take measures in order to prevent one’s burn-out;
- To provide participants with appropriate methods for assessing own performance as a coordinator in a youth organization;
- to provide coordinators with online/offline tools and knowledge and attitudes on effective and non conflicting internal communication;
- To analyze the existing competence models for youth workers working as coordinators in non formal education, with emphasis on soft skills and updating these models according to the reality of coordinators and plan its dissemination;
Participant’s profile:
The project will gather 24 participants from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Georgia, Italy, and Poland who are active Erasmus+ coordinators and volunteer coordinators with the need to empower their own soft skills and with strong desire to contribute to competence model for youth workers in non-formal education field. These are going to be the core members of the participating organizations.
Besides, participants should commit to keep to the deadlines, carry out the preparatory tasks asked for by the organizers and be willing to follow‐up on the training course in co‐operation with their sending organisation (implementation of a dissemination event after the TC in collaboration with Shokkin Group will be a must, as well as to collaborate in the coordination of local/international projects).
We would like to avoid project travelers whose primary aim is to have fun and see the world and focus on participants whose organizations and groups can benefit from their participation in the training course.
