Description

The training course aims to train youth workers in developing table-top games with educational and social value and in enhancing youth’s inclusion, empowerment and involvement through innovative game-based instruments.

More specifically, this training aims to:

  • introduce board games as a tool for the involvement of young people and explore successful examples of the use of board games in youth work;
  • equip participants with tools for developing board games with educational value based on relevant social issues or necessary competencies for youth;
  • develop a set of educational board games to be used in the youth work field.

Participant’s profile

Participants should be at least 18 years old, have good level of English, and be willing and committed to actively participate in ALL sessions of the programme. Besides, participants should commit to keep to the deadlines, carry out the preparatory tasks asked for by the organizers, and be willing to follow‐up on the training course in co‐operation with Shokkin Group.
