Description

“Gamechangers” is a long-term educational programme for educators and youth workers from Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden and Russia which aims to provide its participants with competencies for designing and developing their own educational games and with practical knowledge on competence-based learning, educational game design and civic education.

Over a period of 6 months, the program will include the following stages:

🎯 Online program launch for selected participants on 9th of October.
🎯 Online Training course on educational game design.
🎯 Local game development and testing phase including mentoring.
🎯 Two webinars on debriefing and visual design.
🎯 Evaluation meeting AND Game Festival.

The first mobility of the programme will cover the introduction to game-based learning, game development principles, practical sessions on creating own game concepts, testing the concepts, documenting games and reflecting on the application of such methodology in the education and youth work fields. 

Participant’s profile

We are looking for teachers, educators, youth workers or university students in the educational field who have a group of participants (school class, student group, etc.) with whom they are ready to conduct their own game developed in Gamechangers.

Participants need to be official residents of the country they are coming from, be over 18 years of age and have at least an intermediate level of English.
