Our wonderful Italian journey began with arriving at the airport. Not long time after that we met our future friends, who warmly welcomed us with music and delicious Italian cuisine. And from that moment it could be seen that a great experience awaits us in the course of the next week.
Throughout the whole project we were participating in exercises, as well as training courses of how to become a great coach. Our main instructor did her best so that we could have the best time in Italy and also learn something new and valuable for our future careers. We did a lot: we learned how to behave when you are talking to your client, we learned about personal characteristics and how to act with those people not to offend them and finally solve the problem they are facing, we understood that every person is different and must be treated according accordingly.
Each and every person, who participated in this project – from organizers to participants – had something to share and it was always exciting to listen to their experience of coaching, be it an accident or an overwhelming success.
Talking about our acquaintance with Italy itself, it must be said that the organizers put a lot of effort to show us the biggest part of Italy they could and I want to say them a big ‘thank you!’ for that. We went to Lecce, we rested on the coast of the nearby beach (where water is much-much warmer than in Estonia) and saw a lot of beautiful places, of which we could not even dream of.
We all made a lot of friends and learned something new about ourselves and the people around us. We had fun and ate a lot of wonderful tasty food. We became more self-confident in the field of coaching and also as persons. That was an experience that totally cannot be forgotten for a long time. Thank you, ASAP- Europe! Hope to see you again!
