Such a great Training Course for youth leaders from Estonia, Turkey, Croatia, Sweden, Spain, Austria, Portugal, Denmark, Czech Republic on how to design, facilitate and evaluate meaningful educational activities for young people, with superprofessional team and superamazing participants. In one week we have become real facilitators. And this is true!
During the first part of the training we have discovered The World of Facilitation. And this is the huge World full of interesting terms. We’ve learnt more about communication styles, plunged into the non-formal learning methods, we have tried to prepare an agenda of our own workshop, and now we know what European trainer’s competence model is and also much more. After filling our backpacks fully with new knowledge and when all the preparations were done, the day X came. The day of big X-PEERIMENT, when all participants were implementing their own workshops. What a day! Wonderful workshops! Discovering our values, jumping out of the comfort zone, applying for a job through the storytelling, sports activities, workshop on how it feels like to be a transgender, increasing self-esteem. Everything was very successful, each participant felt himself as a real facilitator. Tired but happy, we continued our training course with a feedback, a coaching method and creating an action plan for our personal and professional development. Every time it’s hard to say goodbye, and we agreed to keep in touch with each other through developing new ideas for the projects.
Motivated and with youth passes we went back home.
