“One of the most random and best decisions of my life.“
“I am always for non-formal learning and I am looking for different opportunities to improve my lessons so that children are interested and engaged fully. And so TC «Visually» happened. When I went there, I had absolutely no expectations and was open to any knowledge in order to understand at least a little what all these words in the infopack meant. And I fell in love with graphic facilitation!
These were the best days of my life, when in one very beautiful place in the mountains, in the middle of nowhere, such wonderful people shared their experiences, learned together and supported each other. At first I was scared and thought I was jumping into my fears of not being able to draw, design and draw people. But Jaanika and Olalla were so cool and just told us HOW to do it, which helped me rediscover the creative edge in myself.
Everything turned out to be so simple, it was mega revealing! I can talk endlessly about how inspired I am and how much I am looking forward to my iPad and pen to start creating my new materials for my students (my children, get ready, it will not be the same as before!).
Every session was very useful. I especially liked the fact that this course was not just about graphical simplification, but also about how to use it specifically in our work. This is what made this course not only useful in skills plans, but also immediately gave tools HOW to use this knowledge immediately upon arrival.
At the moment, I use the acquired skills in every lesson at school in a different format. With the help of graphic facilitation, I explain complex grammar topics, design worksheets, and incorporate templates into group work. Before that, I also blogged on Instagram and now I post my simple signs explaining Estonian grammar there – everyone is delighted!
About the organization and the hospitality of Pedro and Elba, no words needed. The balance of study and free time was perfect. Every day we had breakfast literally in the clouds and looked at the mountains of Galicia, which inspired us even more!
GRACIAS! THANK YOU! AITÄH!“
