Last year we hosted the first international youth exchange of our SafeNet project, taking place in Estonia from 24–29 July. The project aimed to raise awareness among young people about the risks linked to digital technologies, data collection, and the spread of unverified information online.

During the exchange, participants took part in workshops, debates, and hands-on activities designed to strengthen their media literacy and critical thinking skills. Together, we explored how misinformation spreads, how algorithms influence what we see, and how we can make more responsible choices in our digital lives.

Taking inspiration from that experience, a small awareness campaign was created on the topic of fake news. As part of this campaign, participants developed five posters, each addressing a different aspect of misinformation and encouraging young people to think twice before sharing content online.

Below, you can explore the created posters, a creative example to the learning, teamwork, and commitment to building a safer and more informed digital world.

“SafeNet” is a Youth Participation Activity funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission and implemented among youth organizations from Estonia, France, Germany and Hungary in 2025/2026.
