“This month I had the opportunity to take part in a Partnership Building Activity (PBA) in Domžale, Slovenia, organised within the Erasmus+ programme. I arrived with very little idea of what to expect and some uncertainty about how best to represent my organisation. However, any initial stress quickly disappeared thanks to the well-structured facilitation, the professionalism and inclusivity of the participants, and the excellent organisation by the host CZM. From the working sessions to free time, food, and transport. Everything was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to fully focus on learning and collaboration.

Throughout the week, we worked intensively on key topics relevant to youth organisations today. We explored active youth participation, discussing how to cooperate on actions that strengthen young people’s active roles in Erasmus+ projects. We also focused on youth mobility and how to build strong partnerships for mobility activities that genuinely align with participation goals.

Networking was at the heart of the programme. We reflected on concrete actions needed to strengthen and develop sustainable partnerships. By the end of the week, we had built meaningful new connections, developed concrete ideas for future cooperation, and outlined clear next steps for moving forward as partners. The experience not only strengthened my confidence in representing my organisation, but also equipped me with valuable skills in partnership building and project planning that I am excited to put into practice.”
