“‘Gamify+’ is probably my favorite project I have been to so far. I feel incredibly inspired and fulfilled after every meeting. The group is so diverse and supportive, that collaboration and co-creation just flows, and I am amazed by how much we managed to achieve in such a short time.

Escape rooms and games are a passion of mine, but until this project I had only been a player and creating one seemed like a very complex task. However, the activities in the programme were made in a way that the giant process is broken down into achievable smaller steps. We got to write stories, create escape puzzles, set learning outcomes and only after that we had to combine everything together in a full game. I am very proud of all the games we made, and I feel like that opened the door for further development.

Last but not least, I’m so glad I get to connect, work and have fun with these wonderful people. I can’t wait for the next training course!

“This training gave me an immersive week of learning about the design of escape boxes, their core mechanics, and of course experiencing the models made by Shokkin. Also, we were able to design our own escape boxes and playtest them between the different teams, which was fruitful. Overall, I was pleased to accomplish the goals of the project.

Hosting the project in Tallinn was a nice opportunity to show the visitors the city and share its history and landmarks. The Old town is a great place to visit, and experiencing the Estonian lifestyle like sauna was fun. I’m looking forward to make a proper game based on media literacy with this great team!
