“I recently had the opportunity to participate in an Erasmus training course focused on the topic of educational games, and I must say it was an incredibly enriching and fulfilling experience. The course was exceptionally well structured and organized, providing participants with the necessary theoretical background information while also incorporating a wide range of interactive activities and opportunities to collaborate with different teams.

This course has been invaluable in expanding my understanding of the various ways in which games can be effectively integrated into educational settings.

Through engaging lectures, practical exercises, and insightful discussions, I gained a deeper insight into the potential of educational games to enhance learning outcomes and foster meaningful engagement among young people. The course equipped me with a comprehensive toolkit of strategies and methodologies that I can now apply in my work as a youth worker and the manager of our youth club.

I left the course feeling inspired and motivated, armed with a clear vision of how we can integrate educational games into our programs to create engaging and impactful learning experiences for young people.”

“I have been so looking forward to this training course and had many expectations, but I have to be honest and speak my truth: the course didn’t meet my expectations… The one simple reason for it is that it exceeded my expectations.

First of all, I was very happy that the venue was outside of the town and we were able to enjoy the Estonian countryside. The fact that it was a youth camp added a special effect to the project.

It goes without saying that the project was very well structured. There was a fine balance between the informational part vs practical. The methodologies and tools used for the informative part were engaging and did not leave anyone bored or puzzled.

I also must highlight the great choice of the participants. There were both experts on game design or experts on a particular topic or just people interested in the topic. The biggest part of the participants were actively involved and had a lot of motivation and enthusiasm.

The training course was designed in a way that it was good enough both for those who had a big experience and equally good for those who were new at creating games.

The actual outcome of the TC, which was making a game, was exciting enough for me as I ended up making a game, which I always wanted to do, about a topic that was dear to me and my teammates. The additional outcome of the project was meeting amazing people with whom I would love to cooperate in the future or just meet up. Thank you for this opportunity!”

“I would like to say that this training course gave me a huge experience and a big spectrum of different emotions that made me more inspired about improving my skills in youth work.

The project was full of important information, we learned about the structure of edugames creation, and it opened my view about how we can educate young people in such encouraging ways by using different types of games.

What I appreciated the most is how productive we were everyday. I liked the way we could try ourselves in different teams and worked almost with each participant of the training course. This was active work and sharing our international experience gave me an inspiration for every day life.

Soon I’m going to try at my work some of board games which we made during the training course, and I hope that young people will like them and that it will show how successfully this training course can transform our job, and continue to improve and design new educational games.

I want to say thanks to Shokkin Group for this amazing “Gamechangers 2.0” project, for such experience, for such cool team and opportunity to make new international friends, and big amount of knowledge!”
