From the 23rd to the 27th of April 2025 we organized in Sofia (Bulgaria) the third and last residential activity of the long-term project “Edugame: Expansion” involving youth workers and educators. Here are the personal reviews of Nastja, Tanel and Maksim, the participants representing Shokkin Group:
“I’m still feeling energized and inspired by the course we had — it was truly a delightful experience! The team was amazing, and every participant brought something unique. I really appreciated how open-minded, supportive, and engaged everyone was. I learned so much — both from the people and from the course content itself.
One of the most valuable takeaways for me was discovering a variety of ready-to-use educational games. I’ve already started using some of them in my lessons, and the results have been fantastic! The students love them, and I can see how effective and engaging this method is. The games were well-designed and well-organized, which made it easy to implement them right away.
Another big insight for me was learning how to structure the gameplay and even how to design educational games from scratch. The course gave us a solid foundation in both theory and practice, which I found incredibly useful. I also want to highlight the importance of the team-building activities — they were not only fun, but also crucial for creating a supportive learning environment.
The way the course was structured — logical, modern, and dynamic — made it a truly enriching experience. Thank you for that! I feel honored to have been part of such a meaningful project, and I would absolutely recommend this kind of training to other teachers and youth workers.”

“The project went great! In addition to the amazing participants — who were friendly and creative — I also really appreciated how well the organizers structured the project. The program was well-balanced: there was no information overload, and all parts of the schedule were arranged in a comfortable and thoughtful way.
I would definitely recommend this project to teachers and youth workers. As for me, I stepped out of my comfort zone — and I’m glad I did. In the end, I spent time in great company, with an engaging program and comfortable conditions. Thank you so much for this experience!”
Maksim Koval (Lasnamäe Noortekeskus)

“Firstly, what I took with me from this training were the games and teaching methods used. Also not less important are the connections with likely future partners. The cultural exchange from an international project will always stay with me and expands my knowledge and understanding.
I really enjoyed the relaxed beginning and end of the project. The more structured training itself was also well planned. There was nothing to stress about. Participants focus on the new information and game facilitation.
I am a 100% advocate for trainings, international projects, etc. for educators. These are an important part of educators’ lifelong learning and evolment of the education sector.”
