PROJECT SUMMARY
The aim of the TC is to explore the cross-connection between youth work and CSR and to discover possible new ways of co-operation between non-profit and business sectors within the framework of E+ programme.
Due to the increasing trend of CSR becoming more and more important for business success, many companies turn their focus to contributing to the community benefits. Yet, due to the lack of experience in this field, they often do not know how to start in order to make a truly valuable contribution. At the same time many NGOs have the understanding and knowledge of social issues, yet to not have skills or resources to implement them effectively. This training aims to fill this gap by introducing E+ programme as a viable platform for a cross-sector co-operation.
METHODOLOGY:
The methodology used in this activity is based on non-formal education and it is fully functional and topic-related. The TC will be aimed at providing the participants with practical skills useful for the management of international projects and building of long-lasting and reliable partnerships among participants’ organisations for future collaboration on projects related to CSR and Youth Work within the ERASMUS+ Programme.
OBJECTIVES:
1. To bring together potential partners and facilitate the building of long-lasting and reliable partnerships among participants’ organisations for future collaboration on projects for and by young people within the new ERASMUS+ Programme.
2. To discuss and share different possibilities for CSR within the new Erasmus+: Youth programme to build and support bridges connecting youth work, youth policy and business needs.
3. To learn the different stakeholders’ positions and interests towards an overall strategy for CSR towards the youth sector.
4. To look for new approaches to working on the ground with relevant stakeholders to create synergies and foster this linkage between business and youth work, mainly by implementing partnerships.
