About the project

“Critical Escape: Educational Escape Rooms to Understand Migration” is a 1-year project developed by Shokkin Group in coorperation with Mondo with the aim to promote a positive attitude among young people towards migration and cultural diversity through educational escape box game sessions on migration topics.

In the beginning of the project (October 2021), we will form three teams of 3 young people+1 youth leader that will create portable escape box games during October 2021-January 2022. By being part of this project, participants will have an opportunity to take action and promote acceptance through developing, promoting and facilitating game sessions across the country.

Timeline

During the period October-December 2021, all teams will gather in weekly/biweekly meetings to discover the topic of educational escape rooms, understand how to create escape boxes and develop/test their own game with the support of their team leader (from Shokkin Group).

The escape boxes will be first played in youth centers in Tallinn (February), and then starting from March 2022, in schools and youth centers all around Estonia, having sheduled 2 trips every month.

Participant profile
