The first part of Youth Peace Ambassadors brought people from Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Norway, Poland and Turkey together to an Italian seaside city called Cagliari. In 7 days the participants learned how to spot hate speech and fight it in positive ways. We were taught how to deliver something apart from hatred, changing perspectives of our minds that were set on stereotypes and prejudices. We gained some knowledge about human rights. It was really useful to share some of our own stories to know about different backgrounds and how people treat each other without knowing all the story behind the look, behavior etc. We got to know how important it is to think, consider cultural and past experiences, ask questions and share love.

Long days of educational activities were accompanied by sunny visits to the beach, strolling around the historical city and, of course, lots of international friends.

The atmosphere was so friendly and collaborative that at times it was difficult to remember that we originally came from different countries. The message of No Hate was also promoted in the city of Cagliari. Participants shared their good mood, positive vibes and love with local people with help of balloons, positive cards with nice wishes in, and an amusing video was created to show the consequences of living in a hateful or loving way. It takes courage to love and be grateful, and it ruins your life and relationships while you hate, feel paranoia all the way and simply don`t trust the people that surround you. In addition, the participants prepared initiatives that they could carry out to fight hate speech in their local communities.

The second part in Oslo, Norway is definitely worth waiting for! Participants will present their local actions that were aimed to fight with hate speech. Hopefully, will encourage each other to pay more attention on that topic and spread the love all over. In Oslo we are about to learn some more, go deeper in the topic and share some of our new experiences, `cause learning never ends and every day can challenge you with more obstacles, ideas and people with fire inside, so you can develop yourself in any direction you like.
